I like this stone. A lot. I walk past it every day, but I didn't really look at it properly until recently. Funny how that happens sometimes. Anyway, now I can't stop looking at it! I particularly like the flared nostrils :o)
Oooooh! Where is it? If it's in Bristol, chances are I've sauntered past it too without noticing. Strange how once you get used to a place you stop noticing things.
Dragon or dolphin? It's gorgeous carving - looks very tactile. It also looks quite cross though - similar to the face Mr P pulls when the pigeons have been at the strawberries (have a word Charlie).
isn't it funny what you suddenly start to *SEE* when you are carrying a camera?! i *LOVE* this dragon? what sort of a building is he guarding and/or trying to attack?
it's a wonder the bionic woman every got a thing done, actually, even without a camera...she must've been constantly distracted by stone dragons in the distance...or being able to see what the lunch special is at the cafe from 16 blocks away...not to mention noticing peoples' flies undone...and VPL...oof...it doesn't bear thinkin' about does it? shudders :)

That's a great stone - what type of building is it on?

Is it a footpath one? There is a triffic stone in the footpath in Bath along a similar line.
I loved the curved lines in that - is it at ground level, so you look down on it? x
That's beautiful - I'd be staring at it every day too, even drooling on it, if possible!
A very lovely stone indeed VC and such great flarey nostrils :)

ps: i LOVE your acronymic abbreviation, as well...it is only a *BIT* harder to say than the actual phrase it denotes! :)
(are we goin' with, "ist-wee-WOLE-lee" there, or...?) (just wonderin'!)
