Because I seem to have lost it somewhere :o(
I'm fairly sure I had it a while ago... I think I remember that I used to quite like knitting things (mainly little monkeys and hairy-face-furniture, if memory serves...?). And, according to my bloggy archives, it appears that I may also have tried my hand at other crafty things: I've found evidence of rudimentary jewellery-making, sock origami, bra-embroidery, and pretending to be a card maker.
But, I've searched high and low and the mojo is definitely now in hiding. Please let me know if you find it, and tell it to come home. I'll even consider re-negotiating its contract and offering it free biscuits.
In the meantime, however, I have been inspired to order a copy of this after looking at some amazing and beautiful pictures here, and when it arrives I will attempt to be creative with it (in a destructive kind of way, obviously!) I'll also have a whirl at putting together some little wooly hats and see if they might tempt my mojo back home.
And just cos it looks a bit wordy without, here is a gratuitous picture of a monkey in an octohat:
Off to go and knit something similar but a bit less tentacley...

PS. Was about to sign off when I remembered I really wanted to link to this. Please go and watch it. I'll wait.
*humming*
Oooh, you're back. Did you watch the clip? I love this remix - it's so funny - even better than the original Phil Collins version :o)
OK, awkward rambling PS over now...
Byeeee...
(***edited to add: if the video won't load, there's another version here, although it's slightly lower quality***)

Aw, hope you find your mojo soon! Mine goes missing on an alarmingly regular basis (often when Friday night makes an appearance and so does a bottle of wine) - however it seems to pop up again fairly quick!
That video won't load for me? :-(
I do hope you find your mojo soon. I sometimes lose mine. Can you remember what you last did with it? Sometimes that has a bearing? Perhaps it's under your bed? Behind the cushions on the sofa? In that top cupboard in the kitchen?

Suggest you ask both Locket and Michaela. They have history in restoring crafty mojo.
Oh Lordy, that's so spooky! Not the gorilla on the drums (after all, what could be more natural??) but the whole wreck my journal thingy. I too have been inspired by Kittypinkstars and ordered one (or possibly two) this week. Trouble is, I want her to do mine for me, as I know I won't be able to "do" it as brilliantly as she has!
Hope your mojo returns soon .... but if it doesn't, please can I have first dibs on that fabric stash you spoke of recently??
;)
I'll look out for it but sure you'll find your crafting mojo soon. Meanwhile have fun with those little hats - I love the octopus!
Good luck looking for your mojo - I'm sure it isn't far away!
Hope you are going to do some bumbling whilst knitting hats - I can see a little bee atop an Innocent bottle!

My mojo takes loooong holidays these days. Maybe there's a secret crafty mojo hangout we don't know about....maybe in Bognor or Criccieth....
Mine has made a brief appearance this week and gone silly making six pairs of loungey lounge pants. It's probably worn itself out and b**gered off again now!
Hope you find it. Have you checked in the fridge? It might have nipped in for a snack.

I had the same problem a few months ago & blogged agout it here:

I'm not sure how I got over it. I think I just started experimenting with things until my hands and mojo took over. I hope you find your mojo again soon. I love the monkey!
I have a monkey called Mojo! But you can't have him. He is happily watching Poirot on the TV at the moment and cannot be disturbed or he won't understand the plot.
I loved that new Cadbury video.
Maybe it went on holiday with mine, which also seems to be conspiciously absent of late. They're probably living it up in the Caribbean drinking knitted pina coladas or something.
Hope it gets back home soon.

wow, phil collins sure has had success with the anti-baldness treatments, hasn't he?!! very impressive!
OOF! i've got it! you could begin knitting an octohat for phil... (in cadbury's signature purple shade, obviously; perhaps with accents of chocolate brown and milky white??) ...and said mojo will be so intrigued by your plucky combination of craftiness, humor, and monkey-themed hijinks that it will wander back home just to see what the heck you are doing...at which time you can trap him with an upside down teacup!
no wait...i think that's for spiders, not mojo...sorry...
