Stop-gap picture #2

Quick! If we climb up here fast enough, they won't be able to chuck us through that hoop again!

Please note - this is, of course, purely staged for the camera, because the monkeys enjoyed playing basketball really. Truly they did. (And Lauren - don't worry, there was no monkey dribbling, and someone did catch them before they hit the ground. Most of the time.)

Oh, and Lesley - I'll be sure to look out for the Tossers in the 2012 Olympics ;o)

Oh those poor monkeys! They must really not like being used as basketballs.

Greetings, oh vicious chicken!

I've been on a hunt, a monkey hunt to be precise, and I stumbled upon Smashie on Monkee Maker's blog. I adore him! I know this is rather forward but is there anyway I can bribe you into making me a monkey martian? (say that 5 times fast!) It would be a perfect present for my SO (he's been wanting one for ages!)

would it be possible to get a pattern for the smashie monkee? he is way cute!

Oh & vicious, how can I go about getting one of the (formerly bigger & formerly ITV) "tea" monkees I've seen on your page?
I need one really badly!
I realize my living in the U.S. might present a problem. But I need one of those little fellows.

Have you had a gander at my latest monkey project. He will be going on our Hols next month to Indiana.

phew! i'm glad to hear that knitted monkeh safeteh protocols were firmly in place. i would have hated to call the RSPCKA and report you...then those poor dear little monkehs would need to be taken into care...preferably in the loving homes of american pirates...hey wait a minute...where's my phone?!...s'cuse me...

(kidding!!!)

(sort of!) :)

may i add my voice to the happy throng clamoring to know your lovely *PATTERN* for smashie-based lifeforms? i think i am ready to bow to the constant peer-pressure and embrace the monkeh-knitting lifestyle. seeing as i'm such a slowwwwwwww knitter (if NB/BM has been practicing she'll have outdistanced me by now!) i figure it's best to start with the SMALLEST monkeh pattern available...whaddaya say...awwwwww g'waaaaaaaaaan...g'wan, g'wan, g'wan... (that's my VERY BEST "mrs. doyle from father ted" there--bound to convince you, that is!)

They are some energetic monkeys you have. What have you been feeding them?

Your monkeys are braver than me... I'd have been climbing that fence a lot earlier to get out lol :D Not a big fan of heights me... then again... that fence looks quite high, too :S - I feel sick :S

LOL

~x~

P.S. I see, your Martian Monkeys are joining forces with MM's monkees in the quest for World Domination... GO MONKEYS MADE OF KNIT (whatever pattern you were made from - UNITE!!!!) :D :D :D

Hmmm, and yet, they don't seem to be getting all that far, all that fast. Poor little guys. I see basketball in their future...
