My bags are packed and I'm ready to go...

... well, that's a lie, actually; I'm not that organised. But it will be the case soon, as we are heading off tomorrow for a short break. We will be in Wales for a few days, before heading to the land of Oop North to see NBM's family.

But before we go, here are a couple of pictures of yesterday's Monkeys in the Community event.

We went to Windmill Hill City Farm, which was nice even though they didn't have any monkeys :o)

We saw ducks...

... and chickens...

... and a couple of goats...

... as well as a small flock of sheep, and one very large pig.

We also spent quite a long time in Victoria Park, but I think those pictures may have to wait for another day (the NBM got quite snap-happy so we have quite a few...)

Have a good week everyone, and I'll be back next weekend.

Flippin' fab farm fotos! ..... hmm, maybe I'm taking this alliteration thing too far ....

Marvellous to see Delaware and Indiana in the great outdoors - and I'm amazed that goat didn't have a nibble on the monkey made of knit.

Have a fab break, we'll miss you!

I'm enjoying your blog and I love your monkeys... You leave a smile on my face and you have inspired me to knit monkey's of my very own.
"Keep up the good work."

See. This is what I am saying ref: anonymous's post. One monkee at a time you and MM are convincing your drones to let monkees take over the world. One monkee at a time.
*shakes head from side to side slowly with a worried look on face.*

Bon voyage! I hope you and monkeys have a good time (although not _too_ good a time on the part of the monkeys - who knows what they will get up to?).

i agree with MM! ...both times, actually... fab farm fotos, indeed, tho i confess, i was worried about the nearness of goaty mouth to freshly knitted monkee...but clearly all was well!

and yeah...it's been a lonnnnnng & monkeeless week...sigh...i think we need a rota in which you & MM *NEVER* go on vacation simultaneously! it's irresponsible you know, to leave all the readers home alone and BLOGLESS!!! (sheesh!) (hope you're having a fantastic time!!!)
